“CHOCOLATE LOVE” VALENTINE’S PARTY AT CENTER POINT MUSEUM SATURDAY FEB. 10
The Center Point Historical Society is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a free-to-the-public chocolate
festival party at the Depot Museum, 700 E. Washington St., from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 10.
The “Chocolate Love” party will have a chocolate fountain, a unique kissing booth, assorted chocolate
goodies, and a hot chocolate bar.
The 2024 Historical Society theme is natural history.

Youth will canoe, camp, cook outdoors, and learn wilderness skills on this two-night, three-day excursion! Participants will paddle their way around winding bends, rapids, scenic waterfalls, cold springs, and 200-foot chimney bluffs.

The Benton County 4-H will present a "Snow Spectacular" event at the Vinton Public Library on January 5th beginning at 2:00 p.m. This is an event that would be perfect for children in grades K-5th grades.Join us to learn about blizzards, explore how meteorologists use tools to forecast weather, and help people prepare for severe weather!

Raising School Ready Readers Event Workshop Series begins on January 4th
Invest in your child's future! Learn fun ways to engage children in literacy play and turn everyday experiences into learning activities to help children be ready for school. Families participate together in hands-on activities that support early literacy skills in six areas.Adults and caregivers and children ages 3-6 are welcome! This is a series of five 90-minute workshops.
